Student Leadership Formacion is a 10 day long conference that is organised by IFES Europe.
What kind of person does God call to lead?
How do I hear or know that I've been called?
How does a leader grow and not burn out?
The IFES European Student Leadership Formacion conference has been a key event where these types of questions are answered and where life-long friendships are formed.
This summer, from August 4th-13th, in Poland, student leaders and potential leaders, from over 35 countries all across Europe will gather to learn and explore leadership in relation to God’s Kingdom. Formacion will focus on the life of Moses and will include various experiential learning opportunities to help you connect and listen to God while also stretching your current leadership skills.
The week will be spent in both a large and in Community Groups, outside, in solitude, in prayer, and in the Bible to help us all in this challenging yet incredibly amazing journey!
Come join us!
What will we do?
Let’s think about the conference in three sections.
this is where we will meet as a whole conference to worship our God and engage in his word together. We’ll be exploring how does Moses fit into Gods bigger picture and what, if anything, does that mean for us today?
are where the big conference becomes small and personal. This will be your international family for the week; where you’ll be able to share, chat and experience the week together. Each group is led by a couple of young staff from IFES Europe.
Formacion is not about just sitting down and listening, but also going and doing. Each day will be filled with interactive, hands on activites to compliment what has been shared with us in that day's teaching
Who is it for?
The conference is for people who know Jesus. We unashamedly love Jesus and we want you to too.
Therefore Formacion is for people who have this relationship and are seeking to know him more.
Participants of Formacion will need to be people who can consent to our statement of faith, which can be found here.
It’s not about feeling you have had a burning bush moment of calling, but it is important for people who are coming to Formacion to be involved in the leading of their IFES groups in some way.
We want to equip you for leadership so for you to be already serving in some way would be great.
A letter from your General Secretary of a member of staff from your IFES movement will be needed to recommend you so we can see that you have their approval and support ahead of attending Formacion.
We are excited to share with you that this summer we
will be joined with these guys to share Gods word with us.
